Asetra was born from frustration. The founders—a mix of developers, designers, and creators—were tired of dealing with overpriced asset marketplaces, slow payments, and platforms that didn't truly understand creator needs.
We realized there was a huge gap in the market. Talented creatives in Africa and across the Global South had amazing work to sell, but lacked access to fair, transparent platforms. Meanwhile, businesses were overpaying for assets on inflated marketplaces controlled by distant corporations.
